Integral Lessons from Permaculture Living

Tim Winton, founder and managing director of Permaforest Trust, a not-for-profit sustainability education organization in New South Wales, Australia, joins ZOOM’D to describe his many years of on-the-ground experience with permaculture and to offer important lessons for communities transitioning to sustainable living. Tim builds understanding about permaculture and its relevance to the great transition in motion, while exploring the many positives, limitations and blind spots, and potentiality that is yet to be realized. Tim brings an “integral” viewpoint to bear and helps shape thinking about the complete picture to be considered in the coming era of resource limitation. A particular sweet spot of this conversation is about patterns—and pattern dynamics—and how our futures are likely laden with rich opportunity for personal and collective inner expansion, realization, and development.
